
Each year for the busy periods of seeding and harvest we require additional staff. It's a great experience, you meet new people plus you learn life-long skills that set you up for employment in similar industries anywhere in the world. The hours can be long but we look after you with accommodation on farm and most meals supplied when working. Hourly rates are negotiable depending in skills and experience.

We are currently seeking one experienced general farm hand with a genuine interest in agriculture to join our team for the seeding season.
This is not a full-time tractor driving role, but may involve some tractor operating and involves a variety of tasks generally related to supporting the seeding crew by filling and moving trucks, moving equipment and other farm tasks required in between. If you like variety and a more active role, this job is for you!
Job Details
· Position Start Date: 7th April 2026 or as negotiated
· Duration: Until the end of seeding (approximately late May)
· Schedule: Variable, depending on operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
· Support for seeding operations:
-Filling and moving seed, fertiliser and fuel trucks
-Loader Operation
-Spreading granular fertiliser
-Moving equipment
· General Farm Work: Assist with various tasks around the farm as needed. (there is no livestock on the property)
· Machine Maintenance: Conduct maintenance work on farm machines and equipment.
Qualifications
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
· Safety Commitment: Adherence to safe work practices is crucial.
· Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness.
· Machinery Experience: Prior experience in operating farm machinery is essential, preferably crop farm machinery
· Mechanical Skills: Required to complete daily maintenance as shown
-Communication: Proficient in English with excellent communication skills.
· Physical Fitness: Must be able to perform all physical aspects of the job.
· Technologically Savvy: Comfortable using technology in daily tasks.
· Driver's License: A current ‘HC’ or 'MC' class driver’s license is essential, you will be required to move various trucks on public roads.
The following is desirable
· Trimble Auto Steer: Experience with this technology is beneficial.
· CTF Knowledge: Familiar with Controlled Traffic Farming practices.

· Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 6 days per week during seeding; shifts are from midnight to midday and midday to midnight. Hours may be less when we are not seeding.

· General Farm Work: Assist with various tasks around the farm as needed.
